Battle of Guinegate (Battle of the Spurs) – King Henry VIII of England and his Imperial allies defeat French Forces who are then forced to retreat. (16. August 1513)

James IV of Scotland is defeated and dies in the Battle of Flodden Field, ending Scotland's involvement in the War of the League of Cambrai. (9. September 1513)

Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa reaches what would become known as the Pacific Ocean. (25. September 1513)
