The United States Supreme Court in Loving v. Virginia declares all U.S. state laws which prohibit interracial marriage to be unconstitutional. (12. June 1967)

American researchers discover the Madrid Codices by Leonardo da Vinci in the National Library of Spain. (13. February 1967)

Dr. Zakir Hussain becomes the third President of India. He is the first Muslim President of the Indian Union. He holds this position until August 24, 1969. (13. May 1967)

The Six-Day War ends: Israel and Syria agree to a cease-fire. (10. June 1967)
