In Argentina, the armed forces overthrow the constitutional government of President Isabel PerĂ³n and start a 7-year dictatorial period self-styled the National Reorganization Process. Missouri Governor Kit Bond issues an executive order rescinding the Extermination Order, formally apologizing on behalf of the state of Missouri for the suffering it had caused to the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. (25. June 1976)
