The United States Supreme Court in Loving v. Virginia declares all U.S. state laws which prohibit interracial marriage to be unconstitutional. (12. June 1967)

Israeli soldiers entered Jerusalem during the Six-Day War. (7. June 1967)

Protests in West Berlin against the arrival of the Shah of Iran turn into riots, during which Benno Ohnesorg is killed by a police officer. His death results in the founding of the terrorist group Movement 2 June. (2. June 1967)

Trans World Airlines Flight 553, a Douglas DC-9-15, crashes in a field in Concord Township, Ohio following a mid-air collision with a Beechcraft Baron, killing 26. (9. March 1967)

Expo 67 officially opens in Montreal, Canada with a large opening ceremony broadcast around the world. It opens to the public the next day. (27. April 1967)

Six-Day War: The Israeli army enters Hebron and the Cave of the Patriarchs. (8. June 1967)
