Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: Mossad agents assassinate Islamic Jihad leader Fathi Shikaki in his hotel in Malta. (26. October 1995)

Marco Campos, died in an accident in a International Formula 3000 race at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours circuit, making him the only driver ever killed in the International Formula 3000 series. (15. October 1995)

An E-3B AWACS crashes outside Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska after multiple bird strikes to two of the four engines soon after takeoff; all 24 on board are killed. (22. September 1995)

Body Worlds opens in Tokyo, Japan (14. September 1995)

289 people are killed and 265 injured in Baku Metro fire, the deadliest subway disaster. (28. October 1995)

NATO begins peacekeeping in Bosnia. (20. December 1995)

The Dayton Peace Agreement is initialed at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, Ohio, ending three and a half years of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The agreement is formally ratified in Paris, on December 14 that same year. (21. November 1995)

The United States Navy disbands Fighter Squadron 84 (VF-84), nicknamed the "Jolly Rogers". (29. September 1995)

Former Prime Minister of Italy Bettino Craxi is convicted in absentia of corruption. (27. October 1995)

American Airlines Flight 965, a Boeing 757, crashes into a mountain 50 km north of Cali, Colombia killing 159. (20. December 1995)

The Galileo spacecraft arrives at Jupiter, a little more than six years after it was launched by Space Shuttle Atlantis during Mission STS-34. (7. December 1995)

Sri Lankan Civil War: The Sri Lankan government announces the conquest of the Tamil stronghold of Jaffna. (5. December 1995)

The Skye Bridge is opened. (16. October 1995)

Latvia applies for membership in the European Union. (27. October 1995)

Cleveland Browns relocation controversy: Art Modell announces that he signed a deal that would relocate the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore to become the Baltimore Ravens, the first time the city had a football team since 1983 when they were the Baltimore Colts. (6. November 1995)

O. J. Simpson is acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. (3. October 1995)

51 Pegasi is discovered to be the second major star apart from the Sun to have a planet orbiting around it. (6. October 1995)
