Signature of the Treaty of Nöteborg between Sweden and Novgorod (Russia), that regulates the border between the two countries for the first time. (12. August 1323)

War of the Breton Succession: Anglo-Bretons defeat the French in the Battle of Mauron. (14. August 1352)

Portuguese Crisis of 1383–85: Battle of Aljubarrota – Portuguese forces commanded by King John I and his general Nuno Álvares Pereira defeat the Castilian army of King John I. (14. August 1385)

The city of Rhodes surrenders to the forces of the Knights of St. John, completing their conquest of Rhodes. The knights establish their headquarters on the island and rename themselves the Knights of Rhodes. (15. August 1309)

The House of Gonzaga seizes power in the Duchy of Mantua, and will rule until 1708. (16. August 1328)
